The Middle East’s leading food network, Fatafeat, has announced an innovative lineup of fresh shows to delight viewers during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The four new, unmissable shows feature some of the Middle East’s most renowned celebrity chefs, including Chef Manal Al Alem and Chef Mohamad Orfali, and introduce brand new talents, Chef Afnan Al Jaadi and Hayat Al Shaibani.

Each locally produced show offers viewers a variety of fresh and stimulating content to enjoy alongside their family and community, developed to inspire cooking and lifestyle choices during the Holy Month.

Mathbakh Manal Alalem – Halawiyat: Season 2 (Manal Alalem’s Kitchen – Sweets & Desserts)

Airing daily at 11am (Egypt) from Sunday 5 May

This Ramadan, ‘The Queen of the Arabian Kitchen’, Chef Manal Alalem, will entice viewers with an amazing mix of traditional Arabic, and international, sweets and desserts, as well as mouth- watering juices and smoothies.

With 3.5M likes on Facebook, 1.7M followers on Instagram, 473K followers on twitter and a total of 360M views and 1.3M subscribers on YouTube, Chef Manal is one of the widest reaching and influential Arab women in the world.

Matbakhna Al Arabi: Season 5 (Our Arabian Kitchen)

Airing Sundays, Tuesday and Thursday at 1:45pm (Egypt) from Sunday 5 May

Hailing from Syria, and specialising in Aleppo and Modern Arabic cuisine, presenter Chef Mohamed Orfali holds ‘Mastering the Art of Preserves Sous Vide’ cooking certificates from Le Nôtre Paris School. In the fifth season of Matbakhna Al Arabi, he will dig even deeper into the varied and wonderful food culture of the Arabic Cuisine.

During the show, Orfali will share his in -depth knowledge the origins of the recipes, the ingredients and how they link to the culture of the region.

Afnan El Tabkh (The Art of Cooking)

Airing Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:55am (Egypt) from Monday 6 May

Chef Afnan Aljaadi is a new, young, Saudi talent. A certified pastry chef and cake decorator, she was the 2nd runner up in Master Chef Arabia, 2013/14.

In ‘Afnan El Tabkh’, Chef Afnan will furnish the viewers’ Ramadan table with a set menu of her own creations: a tantalising variety of soups, salads, main dishes and desserts.

Bil Afiya Maa Hayat (Bon Appetit with Hayat)

Airing Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:50pm (Egypt) from Monday 6 May

An Emirati with Bahraini roots, Hayat Al Shaibani is an experienced chef in Arabic cuisine, specialsing in Khaleeji food.

In a unique new concept, chef Hayat Al Shaibani will innovatively devise a mixed menu, comprising a variety of traditional GCC dishes during each episdoe.
