Ahead of Seamless Middle East, running under the theme ‘The Future of Commerce in the Middle East’ from 16-17 November 2020 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Epson, a global technology leader, has launched retail innovations in digital signage, mobile point of sale (mPOS), and industrial label printers, that can differentiate customer experiences.
As malls, retailers, hotels and resorts reopen, experiential technology could play a major role in winning back customers and guests. According to a recent Epson study ‘The Experiential Future’, 92% of UAE consumers would change their shopping behavior if more shopping destinations had an experiential element. A quarter or UAE consumers would shop in a store they had never visited before if it offered an experiential element.
“Staying ahead of experiential technology is vital for Middle East malls, retailers, hotels and resorts to creatively engage with shoppers and guests,” said Abderrazek Hakimi, sales manager – business systems, Epson Middle East. “With 92% of UAE shoppers preferring experiential technology, Seamless Middle East is an ideal event to showcase how digital signage projectors, mPOS, and label printers can transform customer experiences and optimize retail spaces.”
During Seamless Middle East, Frank Maeder, head of product marketing – business systems, Epson Europe will present on the topic ‘Technology Leadership in Retail with Epson’ on Tuesday, 17 November at 2:15 pm. The online session will be available to stream on the event’s virtual platform.
